Can you measure the shocks that are on it now? If not, it says the length from eye to eye is 12 inches. Measure from the shock mounts 12in, then let the suspension drop until the mounts are 10in apart. If nothing binds then they will work.

They should be fine. There is a half inch difference between the early El-Tigre and the late one. Do you have a picture of your bike?
