Is there any disadvantage with the flywheel if I hot rod one of these engines?

if you mod it a bunch it would be a good idea to get a billet flywheel. i'm not sure if you can run them with electric start though.

yea im pretty sure the billets dont have a starter gear

I saw a GX390 on Evilbay, they said was dynoed at 35HP with a electric starter. I think it was used in some sort of midget. So i'm assuming it was run at a fairly high RPM. How high can you spin the stock flywheel?:confused1:

maybe 6000rpm.

if you're going to mod an engine get a billet flywheel. is it really that hard to pull start an engine?
