Engine Identification

Have a mini bike with an engine #148 784132 SER 8187B.
I think this is a Tecumseh, possibly craftsman. Anyone know for sure?

If it's 143 and not 148, Take a look here:

Looks like an HS50.

hoping someone can help me out with I.D'ing my motor the number on the shroud is 143-665082 serial# 6257B there is no HS or HM etc just these numbers on the shroud. Just bought a Ruttman Ugly Spyder for my son and I believe this is the original motor.

If you use the above link I posted for the OP, you'll see your engine. Looks like a HS50 serial number 67142B. I've never seen an original Ruttman with a Craftsman engine, but I wouldn't rule it out. The only other thing would be that serial number makes yours a 1976 or 1986. A picture/decal on the shroud should tell you but I do not think it's original to that bike.
