A few years back I'm pretty sure @markus had an early 60's mini bike that was actually manufactured in Erie,PA. Maybe he will chime in.

@relicracing the guy that bought my cougar had this photo/advertisment blown up to go along with the bike and sent me one for my collection......or just to bum me out that I sold the bike to him Almost looks like it could have been taken at that race

this one was #11 on the serial number, bought it out of Erie where they were made:

Never heard of Cougar before this. Unique looking suspension. Markus, did it use rubber dampeners, or springs?
I can’t really tell from the write-ups in the media section. Just curious. Thanks, guys.
P.S. Now the trick is to keep “Just curious” from becoming “I gotta’ have one”.

They used rubber isolation mounts, which were made by Lord..... another Erie PA company. It was a pretty crazy setup.
