good progress,if you want to get rid of the big dipstick tube and not change side cover remove it and replace with dipstick
That's not a bad idea either. That would probably be the easiest option.

Not much to report on this build. I'm at that point where I need to start sandblasting and painting, but I don't have an indoor location to paint in currently, so I'm pretty much stuck. I don't want to blast all the parts and then not be able to at least prime them. Just going to keep ordering parts for now I guess.

Finally found some time to work on this. I got the wheels broken down and sandblasted today. The rest of this week I am hoping to have everything sandblasted and ready for paint.

Looks like I will not be finishing the build-off this year. I definitely overestimated how much time I would have to work on this project with a newborn in the house! Feel free to move this thread over to the builds section. I will finish this at some point, but it won't be in the next month. Thanks!
