Finally got it together!

At long last, I found all the parts for my 1975 XL70 grab bar. All NOS! Cost a small fortune. Ugh

Here is the bike it’s going on. As you can see, the grab bar is missing and the rear winkers are mounted under rear of seat. Not for long though. Ha

Wow. That is super nice. I use to ride with 2 brothers back in the day that both had the exact bike. We use to tear those back fields up. Brought back some good memories.

That really is beautiful. I don't remember any that actually had blinkers in the seventies, but I do remember the tall wheel 70cc bikes like that (SL?)
We had an old oil field out in the middle of a corn field. We would ride those bikes through about 100 yards of bumpy, tall mean corn to get to that abandoned oil field. It was about 3 acres of trees with some old truck trails. We had 2 CT70' and 2 of the Sl. There was never any doubt that the taller wheel bikes were far superior.

Honda made these for 3 years, 1974-76. The 74 color was called candy orange. This 75 is called candy blue and the 76 was called solid green.

Here is a pic of the 1975 XL70 from the brochure. These have a 150 pound weight limit. I ignore that!

Making progress. Got the grab bar assembly loosely installed on the bike. Can’t tighten it up till the seat is installed and wiring done. Waiting for bullet connectors to come in the mail. The turn signals that were on the bike are aftermarket. I reused them. Had a tough time extracting the stalks that were pressed in. Got er done damage free.
