First Mini Bike Build

#82
I won't be able to work on the bike till Sunday but I've been contemplating what I should do on the drive train itself.

I can either do the chain straight to the rear tire and have the disc brake set-up on the other side.

Or, I could keep the jack shaft system, that way I can change up the gear ratio easier if I wanted to. The only sprockets I have in my stash are #41's and the clutch I have is a #35. I could leave the clutch to jack shaft #31 and change the jack shaft to rear wheel to #41 and maybe put a bigger tooth on the #41.

Would there be any difference in power between the two set-ups?

I just hate buying stuff again when I could just make something work

Rode it for the first time yesterday, Runs really smooth and makes a good amount of power. If you launch it right the front tire comes off the ground a bit. All I have is the dirt/gravel road to the right in the picture so traction is a problem. Can't wait to get this thing on some concrete and video!

Have some bugs to work out, Jackshaft keyway kept coming out around 55 MPH and the valves seem like they're floating, mainly due to the 18lb springs I currently have in. This week I should be able to install the 26lb valve springs and get another test in.
