Foremost Golden Pinto Redux

#29
I got it running and rode up and down the street last night, but it's not dialed....Ran into a bunch of issues and ran out of time. It's not going to make it to Symco.

I still need to figure out how to make the scrub brake fit with the new tire.
I swapped cranks on the engine from 1'' to 3/4'', unknowingly the recoil is different and the 3/4'' crank had an extended nose the centered the clutch on the recoil. I threw the other one on I had to get it running, but it need to be repainted.
When I painted the gas tank I must have not cleaned it well enough as the paint is all spotty.
The chain slightly contacts the frame since I swapped it out to a 72 tooth. I might have to go back to a 60 tooth.
The engine starts pretty hard I need to get a choke back on it.

I ended up pulling the carb and tank back off to repaint the gas tank. I would still like to pick up a different carb that has a built in choke

I swapped the recoil over to the new cover and repainted them both. It doesn't have the same cool vintage look, but it'll have to do

I modified the pivot point of the scrub brake and got it to clear, but the top still doesn't wan to return like it should

I also swapped out the 72 tooth sprocket for the stock 60 tooth so it will clear the frame..
