Haven't been around in a while. Life takes odd turns sometimes. Anyway, I started playing with 3D printing. One of my first projects has been the clutch cover for my Fox mini bike. Granted, it doesn't have a 2 speed but it's what I have to work with. It took about 14 hours total to print both the bracket and cover but with a bit of sanding to get the rough parts fully out it should be a good piece. I plan to put 1/4-20 nutserts/rivnuts on the bracket and blue loc-tite the bolts down.
From what I've seen in the revisions I've done making this, ABS has a tendency to warp/crack during printing due to its size and my printer not being enclosed to control temp/humidity so the cover pictured was done with PETG. The bracket shown is done with ABS. Both ABS and PETG are rather hard plastics with PETG being more UV resistent than ABS.
