Free Turning Front Wheels?

Hi All,

I'm changing a bicycle trailer(very heavy duty) from one bike to another and now need to add 2 free turning front wheels to the trailer.I tried to figure out something by looking at wagons and go karts online but still not clear on what parts I need. One reason is the wheels won't be turned by a hitch or steering wheel.I need the wheels to turn on their own when I make a turn and move to center when I'm straight.

So you just want a set of caster wheels? Like these?

They will roll just as you describe. If so any hardware store will have them in a variety of sizes

yeah a simple caster wheel setup is all you need unless you wanted a large diameter wheel then you'd probably have to make them.

If you need bicycle type tires you could use two of the same bikes as donors of steering stems, wheels and forks and turn them into casters by having the stem vertical.A caster should rotate and follow easily on its own.

Thanks Guys. I'll go with some Pneumatic Casters that way with the air tires the ride will be smooth.
