I was doing some trading with a friend Bobby in MS who specializes in Power Products engines. He found me through a mutual acquaintance and needed a Homelite K82 piston. All I had was a use low-time one which I had burnished. I sent him the piston and some rods and told him to just pay the shipping. He calls back up and said, "how did you do that to that piston?" I explained, and he said "I got a box full of low time pistons I'd like done." I asked Bobby to send me some tough jobs and see how he liked the results. Here's just some of that work.
Since then we have not exchanged a single dollar. He's been very generous and supplied me with everything I needed to build a modified AH58 in exchange for burnishing.
Here are some pics of the AH58 he paid me with and I had to burnish it as well. The magnesium cases don't burnish like other metals and I'll likely paint them red.
