Gas Tank

I would like to buy a metal gas tank for my SketchyTrike. I do not care what it looks like, or if it's beat up. Rust on the outside is fine, but I would prefer the inside to be clean or at least clean-able.

The only requirements I have is that it must have a cap, a nipple at the bottom to attach a fuel line, must not leak, and is CHEAP. I am open to all different configurations (round, square, custom, old, new, ??). Definitely not picky.

I have PayPal and will pay a reasonable asking price and reasonable shipping costs. eBay prices are crazy. Thank you.

Try to hit up Delray. I recently purchased a couple from him and they work well.

Post a pic and some dimensions of what you need. I have a couple that may meet your need (cheap and pretty rust free). I also have a chrome tank from a quarter midget that I might part with. Delray's tanks are always good--I've bought two from him.

I do tend to prefer something in one of these rectangular styles (with our without mounting straps - I can fab my own). I have literally no size restrictions since the mount for the tank is way out of the way of everything else.

I have something that'll probably work for you. I'll send you a pm with a pic. It's about the same size as the Troy Bilt tiller tank.

Delray, that's a nice tank, in fact way too nice for this application. I'll keep it in mind for my next project.
