I have a Fuji Go-Devil that I am putting back together from parts. My question is the front fork/handlebars mount. I have assembled the stem into the frame with the balls (bearings), and screwed the knurled nut down to hold the stem into the neck. The Handlebar holder does not screw onto this piece. It is almost like the threads are worn, but I don't think that is the problem. I think I am mi9ssing something. There is a threaded sleeve in the handle bar holder that the top nut screws on to and of course the knurled knob that retains the front fork. The sleeve is held in place by a long key. Can anyone tell me what I am missing here? Any help appreciated.
