It's a flat top Z4M piston, and it also has a .010 head gasket!

Looking about .030 or so in the hole, but I can't be sure until I clean the carbon off the top of the piston.

Should probably clean up the head and lap the valves while it's apart too.

I do need a .010 head gasket now though. Was going to get the 1.3 rockers anyway, so I'll just add that to it. Need a few other odds and ends too.

I'll leave the head work until later. With the +.020 rod, that'll leave me ten in the hole and I'm alright with that.

Get back on it Monday.

I cleaned up the head and top of the piston. Looks decent. Can't find my 1/4" 12 point socket though, so can't put my rod in until I find it or buy another. I'll edit this post with pics when I get home tonight. All I really need now are the rockers and some gaskets, then I can put it all back together and start tuning. But...

I have a chinese scooter that's been sitting for 7 yrs, and I'm getting that road ready, so this engine and mini bike project is going to sit for a couple weeks.
