Heald super bronc

Just picked this bike up. Runs but needs new cables and the carb cleaned and adjusted and tav adjusted. It's been painted once and is peaking but started up 2nd pull. It will be a nice bike if someone buys it from me and restores it. Haven found anything on Craigslist and this popped up and had to snag it up:thumbsup:

Probably a vt8, most parts look "vintage to the bike" and tav decal says vt8. Have to look at the engine plate to be sure. Either way, he "stole" it at the price he paid.

It looks like an 8 to me but I am still learning about these. If its a 10 what did you see to arrive at that? Not doubting you just trying to learn.

Thanks,

Doug
The exhaust ... VT-8s have the Nelson can exhaust that exits in front of the back tire at the mounting plate.
I've so far only seen VT-10s with that exhaust.

I believe it is a spark-arrester exhaust. At least my uncle who give me my Vt-8 said so. He was the original owner. The bike looks identical to my Vt-8.
