Heavy duty cast aluminum rod?

I've decided build a new powerhead, but keep the Champion bone stock and unchanged. That way I'll always have a powerhead at the ready. If the new built motor blows up, It'd take all of 10 minutes to mount the Champ back on.
Dude that's cool! You guys have started me on a whole new hobby now. The wife likes the mud boat idea too. She never likes my hobbies.

That's great. Only for me this is not a hobby. I fish, make and sell custom fishing tackle for a living. The is my mule.
