Can someone decode these numbers for me.....

I know what the first 5 numbers mean, I lost after that. I want to know what year my engine was born.

11 - Month manufactured (November)
23 - Day of the month it was produced (23rd)
0- Manufacturing Location

As for the Type Number (940564), I don't know how decode this number, I wish I knew.

That's the same date think but I've been told that Briggs didn't date code until the 60's

Correct Briggs started the date code in 65..........
