Trying to find brake band parts but only see 4" and bigger bands. The one on the hilltopper is around 2.5". Do they sell small brake band parts anymore? I searched around the internet for a little while and only saw 4" & bigger.
The 2.5 inch brake works very well. You can lock up the rear tire with no problem. Make sure the brake drum Allen screws are clean and tight.
The brake band has a little sideways movement to self clean.
