Hi,

Can I get some advice on what the adjustment holes are for with the rear shocks (see pics)? Is the adjustment for the height of rider? Or for the performance and type of use? Or something else?

As you can see in pics this was were it was set when I got the bike. Lol not sure if it's maxed out to the tallest setting or lowest? I'm 6 ft tall so not sure where it should be.

Also should they be adjusted where there is the least amount stress so they don't break easily?

Thanks for the input.

Ride height adjustment, for rider weight or extra passenger move forward.
You are spot on mustang. The adjustment is more for the weight then height.

Missed this in original manual. maybe this will help others.

By the way are the shocks themselves adjustable? I notice some cutouts on silver metal piece at bottom of spring looks like it can be adj?

A lot of replacement shocks have that preload adjustment, surprisingly I can tell the difference between the softest and firmest notches on a pair I have. Doesn't seem like that little bit of adjustment would have much effect but it was noticeable.
