Looks like you could add a clutch brake pretty easily.

A few members have built those over the years. Problem with the snowblower tracks is they were designed for low speed, lots of plastic gears.

Did anyone try regearing the tracks with steel gears for high speed?

Here’s a track 2 that was modified to get rid of that torture device that Murray called a seat. This is a snowblower track and I used some of the running gear. The drivers are plastic kinda like a snowmobile. I used ball bearings in the critical areas. It’s pretty much bolt on and the frame wasn’t really modified except for some holes drilled. The ski is from a Ski Doo mini Z obviously modified.
i threw everything in a box when I moved and brought it with me and have everything if someone wants to drive down to East Tennessee I’ll sell it for a hundred bucks. Minus the torque a verter. Comes with a spare track.
