We know last fall I was bragging about how neat and useful this engine is But.....
We grabbed our 2nd one off our shelf and tore it down today
Problems !
1 starter shroud pull start is entire plastic...
2 crankshaft endplay is honesty 1/4 inch.
3 snub crank PTO useless for mini bike application.
4 internal camshaft lots of wiggle all around.
5 rubber T belt is absolutely tiny under 1/2" wide.
But they do have a very good designed flywheel...
This engine was a 20 buck swap meet purchase so ?? IDK
Its 20 bucks worth of fun tearing it apart.
