Honda GX Clone Gas Cap Leak

I searched and only found one thread that addressed the apparently quite common fuel leak from the GX clone gas cap. The fix was flipping the gasket upside down, which I tried, but it made my leak worse. Has anyone found a solution that fixed this annoying problem? Maybe using two of the rubber gaskets instead of one? Or, is there a particular Amazon or eBay cap that anyone has found that stops the leak? I’ve searched and found many different designs of similar caps available but the reviews on all of them say that they still leak. I’m hoping someone has figured this out as I’m tire of my right leg getting spayed with gas when I ride my B200X. Thanks.

My cap started leaking then randomly falling off. I just bought one off Amazon and it stopped it.

Any chance you can identify which particular one you bought? They all look the same from the top but the way they attach to the tank is how they differ. The one I have that leaks has a spring that controls how tight it grabs the tank.

Hope it works for you. It’s funny that in all the clones and predators and such I’ve had they all have a different gas cap
