Honda Z50 Barn Find

#1
Hi. Brand new to the forum. First post.

So this is actually a garage find. A friend of mine has had his Honda Z50 sitting in a garage for over 30 years. His dad sold the house so he had to move it. I had him bring it over to my house. Want to get it up and running.

It is in unbelievably original and surprisingly mint condition. Have a look at the pics.

Question for you guys: What things do I need to do to get this thing running and safe to ride?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Wow, that is clean.
Welcome to OldMiniBikes.
I'd say, get the carb cleaned up. Check the tank for nasty gas and debris.
Change the oil.
Check for spark.
Lube everyrhing up. See what ya come up with.

Id start with

Inspect tank, replace fuel lines, clean carb, new plug, check for spark fresh oil. I bet she will fire right up.

Not sure of your skill level or knowledge. As long as you have fuel air spark compression she will run.
