how to remove clutch off engine

#1
I have a 3.5 that has a max torque clutch on the shaft. Been trying to get the clutch off but it will not come off. My friend and I tore the engine up and got the shaft with the clutch on it and still cant get it off. anybody got any ideas on have to remove it. I unscrewed the 2 screws also. I was going to buy a new clutch but i saw this one and said hell i might need to give it a try.

I use a large (cheap-chinese) gear puller... Harbor Freight is one source.

Are you sure you got all the set screws out? Sometimes they are sneaky and use two in each hole, one setscrew to lock it onto the shaft, and another to lock the first setscrew in place.

Lets just say Ive seen it before :doah:
