How to remove Puma clutch

Hello,
I've never removed a clutch before. On my go-kart, I've never needed to do any maintenance because it has a torque converter. But my Jiangdong engine that's brand new is leaking oil and I need to remove the clutch and plate to see where exactly it's coming from.

So, I guess I need to remove set screws? Do I need to take off the chain prior to removing the clutch or will there be enough flex in it? If so, what's the best way to remove the chain? Anything I need to know would be appreciated.

Thanks

find the master link...looks like this

then take some needle-nose or whatever pliers work for you and put one of the plier jaws on the chain pin as shown and the other on one of the tips on the opposite end as shown in this picture. This picture actually shows how to snap it back on. its opposite to take it off. then there will be a floating link plate that comes off the two pins. pull out the master link and then chain will come apart.

then yes, you need to loosen set screws if there are any. And the obvious, remove the bolt at the end of the clutch shaft to slide the clutch off.

Thanks guys. I'll wait a few days to see what's going on and if I don't hear anything I'll take off the clutch and look at the engine. If not, I'll need to take it off for a torque converter anyway. So I appreciate the instructions. Just didn't want to mess anything up.
