I made one into the overflow tank for the radiator in my 61 Chevy.
They are steel, and weld OK. You can but a filler neck/cap from places like chassisshop.com or spidertrax.com and weld it on for use as a gas tank.

or get one on ebay.:thumbsup:

Funny, a guy I work with got a cooler thing for those kegs and I told him to save me an empty. If I could just figure the cap.

That would look good on my Trooper.:thumbsup:
