Well hell, I must have a problem that I have to buy everything if it is cheap. Even a non working Electric Minibike, but in my defense it was only 100 dollars. But it does have 16 inch x 3 inch wheels and tires, so I think a fat guy could still ride it.

Nice find! I was looking at those, new, at Wal Mart last Christmas. I almost grabbed one at $250 to add a gas engine.

They do seem to be built better then I would have thought, I need to do some messurements on it to see if there is a decent way to put a engine on it. If not I may just do a 48v or 52v upgrade on it and let the wife and daughter ride it. I just could not pass it up even if it is just the sum of its parts.

I don't see a chain or a sprocket, and I see some thin spokes. That is why I suggested swapping electric dirt bike wheels.
I wonder if it has a motor inside the back hub? Hmm...

You may be onto something, move the hub rim to the front to charge a battery for lights. put a sprocket on the wheel from the front, and run it on the back. Put a flatty or something on it to run the wheel?

I like your thinking! I was briefly thinking about a front electric, rear gas two wheel drive. The battery and the engine would need to occupy the same space, though. I think that is a Razor Rambler 16, correct? Are they 16 inch wheels?

I actually went to WalMart and looked at them yesterday. They didn't have one out of the box, but they do look well made. I think with the rear wheel and brake swapped to the front and an old flathead or a smoke motor under the seat, I could still find room for 24 volts of DC and a gas tank somewhere. I really don't have room for another project, but I do have too many engines and this one does look worthy.

Yes 16 inch, maybe I would have to go with a bigger frame to hold battery and engine.

Im kind of in the same boat, and since this one fell in my lap I had to get it for the price.
