Hello Everyone! My Name is Bruce I’m 53 y/o and I’m new to this forum. In the fall I purchased a mini bike that was running but needed som brake / carb work. I paid $200 for it which I thought was an ok deal. After a little research I found out it was a Heald superbronc. Maybe a vt8. I think the motor is not original but it’s in event shape. I’ll try and figure a way to post some pics... Your going to need a rear brake. The front ones were never any good. The brake set up was part of the TAV plate.

But these set ups go for $250 when they come up for sale. Parts arent cheap but they are available. You just have to move quick. Fenders are on Ebay but they are usually rusty. I usually swap the brakes to disc or drum at the wheel.

Welcome to OldMiniBikes Bruce. Super Broncs are great bikes and Gumpit is correct, you are going to need a rear brake. The fronts are just along for the ride.... And as stated the parts are pricey. And it looks to be a VT- 812.

Doug

Heres mine.

That’s in great shape! I wish mine looked that good!!! I only paid $200 for the bike so I may just clean it up , paint it and make it a good runner can’t afford to put it back to original (unfortunately). I will try to find a rear brake set up to make it safe tho!

Streaker for my son

I'm Johnny from Northern Virginia, I've been into Honda mini-trails since I was a kid, but I recently picked up a $50 Manco Streaker roller for my 6 year old son and I to work on. We've already made a lot of progress. I'll update photos ASAP
