Is mini bike/minibike one word or two?

The General doesn’t like any errors on his PowerPoint slides so I need to get this straight before his afternoon briefing.

I'm a purist (minibike) but have to search for parts with both, damn eBay results always include more of those "mini exercise bikes" than results I want.

I've seen it written both ways. Funny the consensus is one word but the title of this forum is two words"Mini Bike Discussion"

Minibike is one word because it defines a unique product c/o our childhood. More importantly, that's how I spell it on the MBR key tags that I make...me thinks we chatted this out before.

I know we have talked about this before. I think I read in the Lil Indian History that they actually have a patent on the phrase. I can't remember how they spelled it but you can search their history.

I recently noticed that Ebay no longer discriminates mini bike from minibike in search results. I almost always make it two words when i create listings

In this ad (and almost all other LI ads I've seen), they hyphenated it -- lol of course it's in the middle :D

Rupp also used the hyphenated version of minicycle

Bonanza also used minibike in several of their ads

If you search a manufacturer with either term there are different results if the listing only has one version. You're right though, most of the savvy sellers put both terms in their listing titles.
