Is it ok to change the carb or exhaust on a viper HS200 mini bike or is that bad for it
The governor works the carb on these engines. putting a slide carb designed for a motorcycle will defeat the governor. That is not good.
I use Tillotson "blueprinted stock" carbs. They are fully adjustable and they flow a little bit better than the original, but retain the governor. If you change the air filter and exhaust, you will probably need to change the main jet in the carb to allow more fuel.

Ok in order for this bike to last as long as possible i will not mess with governor
I'm going to give you what I think is the best advice for keeping your bike running as long as possible. First don't change any parts. 2 only ride it for a half hour to 45 minutes the first time you start it and immediately change the oil. The import motors are know to have casting sand and metal flash left in the case. 3 change the oil often if you ride it alot. If you don't ride it alot still change the oil once or twice a season.

Great idea! You will find it a great pack animal. dirt roads with some hills, maybe some camping gear...
You will love that bike. We were not talking badly of the bike at all. I'm pretty sure we all like the CT200u, I know I do!
We were kind of trying to slow your enthusiasm to make it faster. For what it is, it is probably the best there is! Congrats on a great bike and a trusted friend in the woods!

I suspect Viper is a name change for Coleman Power Sports, so they can keep selling mini bikes during their bankruptcy proceedings.
Coleman made some good bikes for quite a while. As stated before, you can call your bike a Coleman CT200U with different stickers on it. Please take time to Google Coleman CT200U reviews. I love mine. I use it on the farm and we take it exploring all over in the woods.

And give the clutch bushing an occasional dab of oil.

Can those viper hs200 pull a little bike trailer
Gotta be careful not to abuse them when adding weight to their expected usage. These things are built for average weight humans. Add trailer weight and steep terrain and you can probably expect to create more work for that tiny centrifugal clutch. Small trailer in flat terrain may be okay, but I wouldn’t try pulling it through the hills. There’s a reasonable limit to the abilities of these bikes. They’re toys, not tractors. That’s why they don’t use chihuahuas to pull dog sleds. They ain’t built for that……
