JC Penney El Tigre's Differenes from year to year

I know they made the El Tigre over several years and also different manufacturers but for the chrome ones made by Bird what if any are the differences??? Did they all use the same engine...same size wheels..etc etc??? I am restoring one and looking over old posts on here I see conflicting information.

I dont know the differencesm but here is mine. I beleive it is mostly stock, missing a couple things. plus someone added a springloaded sissy bar

I picked up this Bird El Tigre around 20 years ago from the original owner. I put a

new gas line and carburetor on it . Note it came with the band brake on the clutch. I think everything else is original.

I think that was something you could order on them.
