Kill switch

#2
Ok , finished up my project and want to wire up a kill switch. I don’t know too much about them. I’m using an older Briggs 5hp flat head . I bought a one wire switch and connected to the area in the pic. It’s not working. I assume I need a ground .
The tab on the side of the coil should go directly to ground.
Also, be careful about winding that engine's rpm up. The flywheel has a missing fin. You don't want it exploding on you.

Ok so you’re saying there is a tab on other side? Do I stay with a one wire switch or go with one with a ground wire? I’m gonna get a new flywheel too.
