Kind of a stupid question?

I got a 79cc prdedator and I'm trying to hook up my throttle linkage. Every motor I've dealt with from 420cc predtators down to 200cc hondas has alread had the crimp style retainer for the cable housing. (is that the right teminology). Like this here:

So, on the 79cc predator there isn't one of these which is fine. I started reserching it and found out about these conduit retainers like this:

I found this on OldMiniBikes:
Cable Anchor (Tapered) - AZ2367

I'll make my own L-bracket and mount it in a certain place that makes sense but I was wondering if thats the piece I need to fix my throttle housing in place so my throttle cable can move freely?

This piece:

or do I need this one, a step retainer..:
Step Retainer - AZ2373

Also, I need it in a hurry (by next tuesday), do you think NAPA would carry this? I hope OldMiniBikes has fast shipping....

Thanks for all the help, this site rocks. I'll post of pics when I'm done.

OldMiniBikes is real fast to ship, and the last piece is to adjust it, I would use it
how does that piece "retain" the throttle cable housing?? furthermore, is the throttle cable housing called "conduit" ? I'm used to just clamping down on the housing (conduit) on the end of it with those standard briggs/honda/bigger size predator clips. It seems so simple but I need to order exactly what I need first try. I can get hardware on my end (nuts bolts set screws whatever) but I just need someone that will hold my throttle housing (conduit?) so I can attache my cable to the arm.

Thanks again
