knobby tires for doodle bug

#1
Hi guys:

New guy to mini bikes. Found a cheap d30 and bought it... I want to replace tires without wheel change and I want it to
be "short" and old school looking and suitable for off road running.

I will rig 212 cc on this thing. What tire size and brand do you guys think will work ?

Thank you

If you want to ride off-road then the "short" tires won't give you much ground clearance.

Whatever tires you choose, a 15" diameter will give you better clearance...a 13" or smaller tire might have you scraping the pegs in the dirt. IMO

I have a 2003 DB30 that has a 212 with a mikuni carb, TAV2, and some other stuff. It goes about 60 mph, probably faster but I don't have the stones to try. Anyhow the best combo tires I've found are Wanda Journey P333. They are knobby enough for dirt mud and grass and flat enough for street use.

I think wdt brand is a copy of Wanda tires but I think they are just fine.
