So i need a chain drive secondary shaft to convert from shaft to chain drive, will my secondary shft gears fit on a chaindrive secondary shaft

You'll need a parts manual to know which gears and other items will swap. And the chain drive and shaft drive engines might even use different cases.

OH man... You are talking a HUGE endeavor there.. Big job, big cost, for little payout.. I think you'd be better off getting it to what it's gonna be, then resell it to buy something different.. If you want it for a gokart you are better off buying a big dirt bike motor, as they are more designed for punishment and low top speed.. They don't burn up cylinders and wear out clutches and split cases so bad..
