Lausen diaphram carb

I am finally getting around to rebuilding the Lausen diaphram carb for my Rupp Scrambler.
It's on a Tecumseeeehhhh.
I bough a rebuild kit from Black Widow.

Everything looks the same but.....where does the needle seat gasket go??
I took the carb apart and I'll be darned it I can figure out where and how that gasket goes in the carb...


Help a fella out please and thank you.

the rebuild kit might contain parts that cover a few carb's with different configurations.

i don't know!

Seems like those seats are stepped at the bottom and the gasket slips onto there resting on the step at the bottom of the threads-

I got it.
It went into the jet or whatever the deal is in the carb that holds the spring and the needle.
Rough side down.

That is the actual seat and yes-ribbed side down.

Do you have the Tecumseh seat tool? So easy with that thing. If not , get one.
