a mix of snowblower parts and a generated flywheel and coil under the flywheel.
snowblower crankshaft[its longer if equiped with electric start] and blower housing.
engine block needs standoffs under flywheel to attach coil to.most 3 bolt intake blocks have it.
flywheel with magnets undernieth, and the alt coils. all this for only 5 watts of power......

Uh yes, not a tiller engine but a Snowblower Engine. No one tills at night (mostly no one) but a snowblower with lights is very useful, since you may be snowblowing in the early a.m. before work so you can get your car out. Electric start is also fabulous as cold starting in low temps can be really problematic, even if you have 20 or 10 weight oil in the sump...

Um sort of. The crankshaft on an electric start snowblower is longer, also the shroud is deeper. The gear on the back of the flywheel requires the extra length. The lighted flywheels of the i/c engine also have the electric start gear on them, plus the magnets under the flywheel so the extra length of the crankshaft is needed.
Not all 5hp snowblower engines have lighted flywheels, I have never seen one,Doesn’t mean they aren’t made but……
