Lil Indian brake return spring specs

I see that Allied Leisure has Lil Indian brake return springs back on ebay. But, the pic & the specs don't add up.

The pic....



The specs...

3 1/8" overall length
1 1/2" coil length
1/16" wire
7/16 coil diameter

If you count the number of coils in the pic, multiply by 1/16", the coil length is way off.

The wire size in the pic looks a lot smaller. Anyone with an OEM spring wanna help a brother out & post some measurments? Number of coils?

Hi Biker & Manchester: I bought 2 of these from Allied for mine. The dimensions are *exactly* as you state with the exeption of the wire size. I didn't mic it but with a tape measure, the wire looks to be approx. 3/64" in dia. That may be why your getting a different total length. Again, just to be clear, the overall spring dimensions are just as you posted. If you've got a small frame Lil Indian with the brake pad with 1" bolt centers, this is the spring you need. :thumbsup: Hope this helps.
