Lil indian Sabre

Found this little a while back.

Original setup as far as the engine clutch etc. Blower housing is wrong.
I have a 1970 that I will put on it I think.
Any feedback on these?

Yea I have a Sabre my self and it has the rear disc sprocket brake....I believe mine is a 69-70 model, yours might be a little older. Looks like you have a very good starter bike that's for sure .

I have 3 Lil Indians like that one. First bike I started collecting. One of my favorites. That will be a fun restoration. Did they cut the bracket off where the disk brake would mount?

It does have a bracket with a 90° bend where the brake cable is attached.
The drum brake doesn't look hacked or Jerry rigged.
Did all models come with a disc brake?

Nice bike! These are very cool bikes I sold a complete roller in package deal with an Alexander Reynolds Easy Rider I had listed here first, to a friend that lives in Cali he loves both bikes. Sweet Sabre nice find:thumbsup:

Yeah I figured disc only.
I don't know if I want to invest $150 or more for a caliper. I actually saw one go for $499 on ebay
Maybe sell it or part it out
