lime ice cat 400x

I picked up this cat 400x a few weekends ago. it was a metalic red but also also painting a satin red in some parts. they welding threaded pipe to extend the foot pegs. did some booger welds on the forks and handlebars. rode the bike without a brake pad disc so it grind on the sprocket. lots of mix matching bolts and hardware. But its a good canvas to start.

pics dont do the color justice. its a awesome color. But I hit a snag in the process. the lacquer is messing with the metalic and pulling it to the surface.

sorry for not update. but I was waiting on clear coat and parts that got lost in mail. but will have a update later today.

I decided on one more coat of clear yesterday. so pics of assembly later today. But im looking for a kickstand if anyone go one for it

its 95% done. Just needs a brake cable i forgot to order. so i had one prime ordered tomorrow.

Looks amazing! I am re-restoring mine this winter.

Can I ask what specific brake cable you ordered? I have one (not hooked up), but I've seen several variations and would like one that has the threads and nut where it connects to the L-shape brake cable bracket. The cable that came with my handle has a standard end on it.

it rides like a dream. and will put it in local car shows and motorcycle shows later this year. But looking for a kickstand for it. if u got one hit me up
