Lookin for a 1" thumb throttle...

Lookin for a thumb throttle for a 1" handle bars, everyone I`ve found are 7/8"-22mm. :thumbsup:

I've had this issue before aswell. I just cut the ends off a regular bar, and sleeved it, and cut the 1" bars off and welded new ends on. And presto no problems finding a throttle assembly.

But to answer your question I only know of Harley twist throttles that are 1".

Snowmobile bars are sometimes 1 1/8", could you just put a sleeve under the 1 1/8" thumb throttle clamp?

I haven`t really looked at snow mobile stuff, not much on Ebay. I`ll do more lookin around.
Upstate N.Y. no wonder you know about snowmobiles, lol.

Charlie, I searched and searched and couldn't find one :doah: I did find that all ATV and snow mobile thumb throttles I found were 7/8 and I wound up getting the bars for my trike made with 7/8 tube :thumbsup:

Thanks Randy, I might swap out the forks to a 7/8 as a last resort.

That's what mine looks like except it's much older. Probably early 60's.
