I have a Manco Rim with a 60 tooth sprocket that is a bit tall for the tire, it will dig into the ground on a slight turn. The tire I have now is about 11 inches high, would be nice to get 13-14 inch height. Any ideas?
Old school 4.00x5 were the oversize tire for the 5" wheels. they were between 12-13" aired up. This is an old stock (NLA) cheng shin 4.00 x 5 next to a good year 4.10/3.50x5" both loose off wheels.
I dont think they do, at least not for the US market and I dont think the studded pattern is made at all anymore. there are some tires in that size floating around in different tread patterns, pretty sure the typical 11x4.00-5" size you see here in the US will only be 11" OD but fatter so watch that. you also have to watch with newer tires as they may use a common number but will be smaller than they used to be. You find that with the china tires of today in standard 4.10 sizes.
Seems a lot of listing just don't include the height. I noticed this ebay listing for a complete rear wheel/sprocket etc, has a 60 tooth sprocket and what looks like a fairly tall tire that will work with it. I looked at the guys store to see if he offered the just the tire, but no listing. He probably gets them from somewhere else. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335845805&icep_item=162431048697
