Thanks smallbore, I think pictures are much better for Mac's deal. You can study and drool better. I kept wanting to say to Mac's video, hold it, wait a minute, what the heck was that?

Well I did a Satellite fly over to see where Mac lived and WOW that's one full back yard full of sheds and lots of shade tarps. And a street walk showed a nice neighborhood and who would have guessed how much minibike treasures there was just a few paces away.

When I was growing up in the South bay there always was the saying if your crazy they will send you to Norwalk ( Norwalk State Mental Hospital ) but I am here to say that you are crazy if you don't take a trip September 15 to MacFesT
Look how much money you can save because Mac has been to all the swap-meets for you, his sharp eye and uncounted years of mini bike and go kart history is all gathered up in one place. Last year at Minibike Fun Day # 2 Mac brought a big truck load of frames and parts and it was a lot of work but just a tiny part of what's in Norwalk on Volinteer Ave. I know I sure am going to do my best to be there this year.

Well it look like I will be making the big trip with the first stop being in Norwalk for a day of discovery. I was raised in that area so I should be able to find my way. But they sure have added a bunch of new freeways in the last 32 years.
This is the real deal when you can see so many and so much parts for mini bikes, Karts and even trikes and even a stray boat.
Mac remembers the old Custom City a shop that burned to the ground in North Long Beach, Back in 1973 or 74 this kind of reminds me of that huge place. Come join the fun and find that treasure, I am sure it's there.

WOW Mac: Now I guess that keepsake is not for sale. Yes that place with all the parts hanging on the peg boards was a true adventure land. To me a tragic loss of so much interesting things. One of the coolest things ever in Compton.

Thanks Mac your a very generous guy but it belongs with you but out where everyone can see. Steve :scooter:
I figured on ebaying it years ago, but never got around to it.

Would be nice to get the paper inside the frame copied before it deteriorates further,
but that's not something I plan to do.

You can let me know if you change your mind. I have no need for it.

I'm sure someone could refurbish it and make a nice collector item out of it.

...One of my friends says two boxes of minibike parts are headed my way
and will be delivered Tuesday(in a few hours now), so we'll see what it is,
and see if the parts make it to MacFest.

I don't remember a place called Ron's in the South Bay area . but with all the special gear they could of been up in he San Fernando Valley.
What I would give big bucks for would be one of the D&D imprinted " Do it in the Dirt " T shirts they were a good seller back then and I just wish I could see the design once more.
