Looking good. I always feel bad about using NOS parts but why not right? I use the adapter plate that comes with the engine for a template. Cant go wrong that way

I think Karen meant chain tensioner; not brake adjuster? That reminds me.........can't wait to see how Karen handles the brake. I've been staring at mine trying to figure out how to adapt my Avid bicycle brake caliper to the frame. I'm using a separate brake disc on the opposite side of the wheel. Might have to alter the axle plate somehow.

Some kind of red.
Drilled the seat bracket and finished the seat. You could pretty much just put one hole in the back bracket or you can't get your hand under there. lol

What if you made a slotted hole in the back hole of the seat. But it had a larger hole on one end of the slot. Have the head of the bolt stick up so it would slide into the slot and lock in. Then you wouldnt need to get in there to tighten it. The other bolts would hold it in place.
