manco thunderbird conversion

i want a manco puddle jumper but cant find 1. has anyone converted a thunderbird to a puddle jumper
to me the frames seem similar. just curious

I think you might be confused. The manco streaker is much more like the puddle jumper than the thunder bird. A streaker would be a pretty simple conversion to make a look alike

What you call a Puddle Jumper could be a bit different from what others call a Puddle Jumper.
The PJ's I'm familiar with looked like my Orange minibike below. Mine has a different engine and gas tank but the rest of it should look like others. Perhaps they (Sears) changed the frames and suspensions but kept the PJ name? Mine looks like the Manco Screamer pictured above.
Another similar Sears minibike was the Green Streak. The Green Streak didn't have the corner gussets with holes but had front and rear suspension. I had a couple of those also. Here is a picture of a stock Green Streak too.
