Maybe that tank could be modified. I think if the top front point was angled down from the filler neck to a few inches lower in the front the tank could move forward and match the slope of the neck. something like that anyways

Well its a roller....all bolts and fasteners torqued and loctited.
Gotta work something out with the lean angle with regard to the kick stand...right now it holds the bike near vertical..not good any suggestions are welcome.
I did order that big 6x20 round fuel tank from Amazon
Thank you for the lead !
heres some pics from this morning. I think it's time to hang and sort out the brakes while waiting for the tank
I wish for all my fellow forum friends that yall have a happy..
Safe...and prosperous and healthy holiday season

Cool bike! Is it just the camera angle or otherwise an illusion- Is the rear wheel assembly not centered in the frame/swing arm?
Thank you for posting your build thread...

The tank.... I dunno i do know amazon has a very liberal return policy...sooooo..ima order up a bunch of options and send back what doesn't work
The swing arm....
Just the photo its one of the coolest features on the bike
The way the wheel axle and spacers assemble is neat
The kick stand
I ordered a bunch from Amazon
Gotta love it...and again..what works what dont goes back
We've been "building with the blues" me and my dog have had the blues channel on sirrius radio
On all day while playing with the MBK....ahhhhh....its good to be the king !

Unless I find an alternative to this tank. Then it looks like I am going to have to either use this one... or be creative.... I need some fuel capacity as the motor for this bike is a monster and will not be very fuel efficient and all the round spun aluminum tanks I know of only hold 10 Oz (unless I am missing something) and i am not all that excited about running a round tank. I would welcome some ideas and photos
Though I don't think this tank is the worst look for this project?
Mantini made a tank for the bike. Or is that not available?

A flat tank would be perfect for this bike.unless i want to fabricate a tank ( in a perfect world ) then I will have to play with some options. I will post up photos of my tank selection and wait to see what yall think
Happy safe and healthy new years to you all

Well it rolls and stops ! Its a roller. It had its challenges setting up the brakes...everything is sooo tight and it required special hardware to make it happen but we're there now. The bars are pretty much set up... the brake lines gotta go. I have some custom barnett lines that may work.if not they can make them to my specs and they are easy to deal with. I know that with some braided stainless lines i will buy some movement...at least more than the Chinese plastic are giving me. The foot pegs are mounted in the rear position. If you look at the frame it has front mounts. I think it looks sharp and now all attached hardware has been torqued with blue loctite
Here are some photos from tonite

Well I found out what was causing me so much trouble getting the rear wheel square in the swing arm....Seems that the rim has some offset built into it
Sam happened to ask me if the valve stem was on the sprocket side...it wasn't so I took the wheel off and swapped the rim on the hub and instantly it went together properly youll see in the photos...the tensioner now is aligned with the sprocket and the brakes went together much easier...if you look at the two pictures you see one out of whack off center and the other is the center of tire centered in the swing arm... it is solved

Well we're married up...motor in
Jack shaft partially assembled
Need to shorten it up..will get to that next. I have soooo much room for the fuel tank. I still think the MM 212 tank looks good
Still pondering options. I'm gonna get the old chain breaker a good work out setting up the 2 chains.the motor looks lost in the frame....but not to be deceived
Thats a heavily "breathed on"
212 Tilly. Can post details about the engine build if yall are interested
Good progress today
Heres a few pics
