Moe's Open Class 420cc chopper

For this build up I will be building a custom minibike chopper style frame, me and my buddy had a 100 dollar off coupon for a 420cc predator engine so thats what will power this machine, i will use a 6" rim with a tall ribbed tire and a 20" hd bike rim up front with a bmx style street slick tire. I am planning to run the cylinder forward then run a reverse gear box to power the bike into a forward motion since i will be reversing the engine. the frame will be full custom built from steel pipe and sheetmetal. I am also planning to do some mods to the engine my buddy Dustin Lee from Dustin Lee Racing Engines out here in Los Angeles will help me out with that. For the front end i have a short springer set-up im mind. Hope you guys like it!

Thanks Jake!

So ive been working on the frame the past few nights with my buddy its coming along really good, at work now I will post pics of the frame and frame gussets tonight. Next I will start the springer forks.

Looks like you could give those jokers in Orange county a run for their money. Sweet build. Good work. I can't wait to see how this turns out. :thumbsup:

really like it. Im just confused with the engine, is it backwards? Im no pro, sorry for the dumb question.

He mentions a reverse gearbox to make it drive forward, which intrigues me also cause I have thought of running the cyl forward but didn't have a solution for that problem. Fill us in....wheres the gearbox?

Those are nice looking bends for using a pipe bender. I didn't notice too many kinks, did you pack the tubes with sand before bending them?
