New here and just finished a Montgomery Ward 525 swing arm mini bike in Brittany Blue.
As luck would have it I just found another identical complete chassis and fork
assembly for $45 at a swap meet.
However, it was missing the hard to find oil impregnated, flanged bronze bearings for the swing arm.
After careful measurement I researched, then, ordered the following from American Sleeve Bearing Company in Connecticut:
Item # FF-1010
Dimensions:
.752" Shaft diameter
1.0655" Barrel O.D.
1 3/16" Flange O.D.
1 3/16" length
1/8" Wall thickness
They're only $4.29 each & are easily installed. If the hole is very "egged out"
you will have to dress it up carefully with some abrasive persuasion till you can just tap them in….Don't beat on these!
These will probably be the closest to original as you can find.
