I have done many deals with Brian and attended many of his shows and events and never had an issue. To be honest he has always been a stand up guy and been nothing but helpful in my many dealings with him.

I'm glad to hear that there are positive dealings with Bryan in his local area, hopefully for everyone this is an isolated incident. However, I'm still out the $150 and have nothing to show for it except two broken jackshafts.

I have bought a couple of bikes and parts from Brian and never had an issue with anything. I am sure he will get this resolved. As far as I am concerned he is a great guy to deal with.

While I'm not real familiar with two speed clutches; it seems to me that it wouldn't take much of an effort for a seller to examine the inside of the assembly and verify that nothing is broken prior to the sale. Especially when there was an issue with the first one. Ogy

I have to agree with Ogy Seems that would be a reasonable thing to do after first clutch spring was broke. The way it sounds from all the positive feedback on Bryan that he may have been to trusting in the people he bought the clutches from. But that's just part of doing business and he should make things right with his customer.

Okay I'm sure about the spring. I'm not looking for advice on the spring. It is broken. I have moved on. The point was to inform the forum if you are going to be doing business with Bryan from Motor City Minis.
Hey, I realize you are upset, but I was just asking, and trying to help.

Here's another update. Spoke to motor city mini's two weeks ago. Bryon was busy, talked to Chuy, polite and courteous. Chuy said bryon needed my email address. So I gave it to them again.
Fast forward, this weekend called and spoke with Chuy again, asked if he would remind bryon about the refund. Chuy said he would and I asked if he needed the email he said no, he still had it written down.

So are you still looking for this jack shaft? Anyone? I just need a picture to confirm that what I have I'd the same and I can help somebody out. The one I have is NOS but still not sure as I have yet to see exactly what everyone is talking about other than the spring and cover.

Update; Friday May 11, 2014.
Called Motor City Minis at least 8 times and no one would answer. Called from a friends phone and Bryon picked up the phone. I asked him what the status was on my Paypal refund. Bryon stated he was dealing with the guy he had purchased the 3rd jackshaft from. Bryon said he could not refund the money at this time because he had paid "good" money for jackshaft #3 and the money was tied up with that transaction. I told Bryon that I had paid him Good money initially and had nothing to show for that transaction. I also explained that his deal with the #3 jackshaft had nothing to do with our deal. When Bryon wanted to be paid, that is what happened. I did not tell him to wait until payday for me the money was sent immediately.
Bryon then went on to tell me that the guy thought he had another jackshaft. Bryon said the guy saw jackshaft #3 run on a bike but never saw it shift.????
I thought it was a joke but it was not.
I expressed a number of times to Bryon that I did not want another jackshaft, I wanted a refund as Bryon had agreed to do. I have the voicemail that proves it.
Bryon said he was going to talk to the guy he bought jackshaft #3 from and go from there.
It sounded like the salesman for jackshaft #3 is a member on this forum. FYI

Called on May 23, 2014 and left a message with the gentleman on the other end. Bryon was not in this particular day. I gave him all my information again and asked Bryon to call. I have heard nothing, so far.

Called Motor City Minis today, asked for Bryon he was busy, I told Chuy I would hold,(very polite and courteous as always). He checked on me a couple of times. A new guy named BJ answered and said Bryon was busy, could he help me. I told him Bryon owed me a refund and this had been going on for a year. BJ said he was the manager and he would look into it and call me back.
A little while later BJ did call and he said for me to check my PayPal account, he had issued the refund for $150.
I don't know what happened over there, but I'm sure glad BJ is working there now.
Thanks to BJ for clearing this matter up.

This has been a lengthy ordeal and glad its over.
Thank you Motor City Minis, Bryon and BJ for doing the right thing.
