Kinda what I'm thinkin. Air can fail. But if I make it fail so I can go still it would be ok and softer/plush.95% sure its getting a suicide front end.Gotta find a super short leaf spring.Might as well right. Got a bunch done. This thing was meant to be.:grind:

What's a suicide front end? And I was going to suggest use a spark plate like they make for trick 4 wheels so it won't damage anything but will throw some sweet sparks out of it.

Anyone have kids snowmobile around? Could ya measure the front ski leaf spring eye to eye. I would much appreciate it. Think a full size is just to long.

Found the steering yesterday. Rack style. Gunna work out gooda....

Then todays mid day mockup. Bunch more to do....but is coming together better than I thought it would. Oh yeah .... different rear axle. 10$. Paid a premium for that one. Had bigger sprocket and worked out sweet flipping it over to mount.

Found the rack in a old lawn tractor. Took the whole steering. One big bolt in the middle and its off. Can go wrong. Steerings going vertical through the tub.

Yoop...whats the eye to eye measurement on the leafs?

Seeing what i had to do for the rear axle over the weekend. Wanted to use the bolt on rims. And I needed more width. Solution ..... two long sides. Most the time the sprockets offset.... so grab two and put em together. Also the hubbed one had a disk on it for the brakes. So I swapped that on also. Might hafta shim that out. We'll see. The other hub is rusted onto the other axle shaft so I gotta drill it out. I'll get er.

Ahhh. To late hoppy.. i cut a full size down already. Was hoping to have pics of the front end. But.... I hated it. Redoing it.

On a side note.. or more like a follow up. Got the old axle out of the hub. Drilled and bored it out. And with.005 left togo on the id the old shaft peeled out of there for me. Didn't even touch the old bore. Sweet. But watch out for those cross pins. Hard as shit and like to drop in on your drill flutes. :grind::cursing:
